I got Brady very late in one of my drafts. Unfortunately it is the same league that outlaws tight ends.

And he gets worse as it gets colder.
CJ Anderson was a big disappointment as well!

One hopes that all the talk about "They're getting better, they just need time to get it together" is legit.

I can't find the video but Aqib Talib in the post game interview sort of called out the offense...then caught himself.

At least the Cowboys (specifically Romo and Witten and Bailey) have really come through!!

@Vigilante ...how's rooting for the Bucs workin' out for ya?

@Vigilante ...how's rooting for the Bucs workin' out for ya?

Well, let's see.

  • I live where people vacation
    I went to the game yesterday, and sat in the front row lower level directly behind the visiting bench at the 40 yard line
  • I sat with my wife, who is more beautiful today than she was yesterday, and she wore a buccaneers tank top
  • I watched some amazing athletes deliver some vicious hits
  • I got to see the top 2 draft picks from this year's NFL draft play their first game
  • I watched some amazing cheerleaders
  • I drank some great beer that is only available in a few southern states
  • There was a breeze coming in off the Tampa Bay, cooling down what was otherwise a 90 degree sunny afternoon
  • Meanwhile, my company continued churning without me
  • I left the game, and in 15 minutes was back at my house to watch the last few plays of garbage time
So, all in all, I would say pretty darn well. Doesn't really matter what the score of the game was.

How was your day?

Early days yet but a few draft picks looking good so far....

R4
Carlos Hyde-Sarcastaball All Stars
Ameer Abdullah-Orange Crush
Travis Kelce-Peanut Butter Jammer
R5
Keenan Allen-Peanut Butter Jammer
R8
Tevin Coleman-MJ
R9
Danny Woodhead-He's Such A ShowOff
Kendall Wright-Sarcastaball All Stars
R10
Marcus Mariota-Orange Crush
Terrance Williams-MJ (albeit due to Dez injury)

Julio and Jeremy Hill also looking good but personally they were lost in that long, brutal wait between pick 1 and pick 28.

We could have added R7-Tyler Eifert-Rabid Pink Ferrets.....but then he dropped him after the draft.

Looks like I might be in the running for top waiver pick this week.

Week two was an injury bloodbath.

You should have number 2 pick, though in a 14 team league many of the hot picks are already rostered.

I see Tevin Coleman and Matt Stafford both managed to get injured while Sam Bradford is somehow still in one piece. Well he's physically in one piece.

I like the look of David Johnson at RB for the Cardinals.

The QB options are getting thinner.

Andy Dalton and Jameis Winston are available to anyone with a competent TE. Send out your offers people. :)

Me too, definitely in the market for some more running backs :greedy:

*I would have more but MJ turned down my Stafford for Tevin Coleman trade. He has amazing faith in Sam Bradford. I mean had.

What I want to know is, how in the HECK have so many standout players been crushed by injuries? I know that it's probably observer bias but:

* Tony Romo
* Dez Bryant
* Drew Brees
* Erick Decker....

That's insane, I'd grab him, two games isn't enough -- too bad ain't happening in my waiver position.
The doctor couldn't find a scalpel handy so just grabbed a chainsaw and performed an emergency CJectomy.

The good doctor should have entertained trades for him, I'd give away something for a current #1 RB, despite the 2 outings. Wonder if #1 waiver, smoking baby (Team Holmes) is up for the grab.
