Hey Guys,

So I had two questions for the members here, #1 what do you do to reset in the micro during work, meaning during 1-2 hour work bursts what do you do to get your mind right. #2 what do you do in the macro to reset, meaning after a few weeks of work, do you go on vacation? Go for a massage? Etc.

Lately for me I have been testing some break ideas, like taking a 15 minute walk, reading a book for 15 minutes, meditating. I find it hard to get out of thinking about work while walking and the reading is hard on the eyes for someone thats in-front of a computer non stop.

I watched a productivity unleashed event and took down some recommendations.

Recover - The Sprinter Model
a. Sprinter has a burst of performance then recovers, work like that
b. He likes to work 3 weeks then take a week off, if you work like that you work harder to do the work you have on that schedule
i. Will be more refreshed, will work harder, will live longer, will be happier so your team will be happier
c. Tells his team they are not allowed to work on fridays anymore
Go get a massage, go see a movie, go to art galleries, try new food, etc. Recovery with interruption is not really recovery
