Attempts to circumvent the tariffs on products from China have come back to bite those involved. Some companies have been shipping steel products from South Korea and Taiwan to Vietnam, where a small amount of work has been done on them. They have mistakenly thought that this would miraculously transform those products into ones "Made In Vietnam".
Those products are now subject to tariffs of MORE THAN 400%.
