Hi all, want to see what others think here. I am currently unemployed and able to put 100% of my time and effort towards my business (blog/ecourses/affiliate marketing) but I've been given the opportunity to interview for a position with Goldman Sachs. Are there times when taking a slowlane job can be beneficial to entrepreneurial endeavors?

The main attraction for me with this position is the potential to meet and work with others much smarter than me. But I'm not sure if this is one of the points in the journey where I should stick to the Fastlane and use this opportunity to own my time. Thanks!

Yes, making wads of cash to kick-start your ventures.
Networking, gaining industry experience, learning business practices, building & obtaining huge credit facilities.
Slowlane is a means to an end if you know what you want.
Trading 5 for 2 in the short term won't kill you & starving entrepreneur may have cachet but it is so overrated.

Thanks for the insight! I was thinking some of the things you said, but sometimes it seems like going slowlane is "quitting" on the classic starving entrepreneur idea. Appreciate it!

Think of your life as a military campaign, sometimes you have to retreat in order to live to fight another day.
