I recently learned about Jobber. It's a platform that seemingly helps individuals run service businesses by modernising the process of booking and payments, essentially. It simplifies it for the customer, in industries where typically you "knew a guy" or went off referrals for a service. E.g. Gardening, window cleaning, cleaning etc. Many of these businesses are ran using outdated systems/processes and companies leveraging software are eating up market share. It's empowering the individual to run a smooth business with an "all-in-one" sort of solution.
Shopify, as almost everyone on this forum will know, empowers the individual to run their own e-commerce store, with easy payments etc. for the customer.
Both of these solutions open up a world of options for the entrepreneur.
Many entrepreneurs like to dream of, or pursue business ideas of creating such a platform/software as it's highly scalable. Instead, what about leveraging the solutions already out there? Undoubtedly good money in this, particularly for those just trying to get off the ground.
