This will be my progress thread.
Two weeks ago, I got my first client as a google ads freelancer and I am running a test month for him. (SIDE HUSTLE - How should I prepare for my first client call?)
The first week of the campaign was successful in my eyes: (the real estate market is really competitive)
My client is a local real estate agent that I contacted via cold emailing. I managed to meet him personally and we spoke for almost an hour. In the end he was a bit skeptical but agreed to a test month. After that he will decide whether google ads is also something for his company in the long run. In exchange for the test month I will get a testimonial.
So, my question is how can I make the most out of this test month? Last week I spent a lot of time thinking about the campaign and making daily changes. However now I am seeing good results and don’t have to spend as much time as last week. I have a lot of free time and don’t know how to use it effectively.
I already journaled about it and thought that I could maybe learn more skills and complement my google ads service. I could learn how to use Google Analytics, set up Google Tag Manager or conversion tracking.
But I'm not sure if I really need these things at the moment or if it wouldn't be smarter to focus on another thing or another problem that I really have in front of me at the moment.
But how do I find the thing on which I should best concentrate? How should I use my free time?
I just don't want to waste my time learning skills that I don't really need. There must be something that would help me right now to give my client better results. Because that's my main focus right now.
