Hello Fastlaners,

Over the last two weeks I have come up with an idea. So far, I have researched the market and reviewed some trends and numbers via Google Ads & Trends, Facebook, Amazon, etc. This space (storage solutions) is broad and my particular idea has no one currently creating something like this. I have found a wickedly catchy domain and have bought it. That is all the money I have spent thus far. What I am hoping to have dialogue on are the following:

- My concern with bringing this to the market to gauge market interest would be that an existing company in this space could easily take this idea and run with it. They have the manufacturing power and capital.

- Patents - I feel like I would be most protected patenting this (there are a few finite proprietary things with this idea that I believe could be patented), however, I am a bit worried with how to approach this. Does anyone have any resources that may be useful for me to go through or able to share some experiences? I am able to create high-level design drawings showing concepts (Autocad).

- Money - I am still in debt and this would require a fair amount of capital to get started. I could reach out to existing companies in this space which already have manufactured sorted. Thoughts?

These may be rudimentary questions to ask, I am relatively new but and excited about this one.
