How To Convince People To Use Your Referral Link?

Apart of my sales funnel is a lead magnet that is a referral link (but still provides tremendous value to the user).

It's a link to a product that makes them money (legit product, trusted, etc)

I get 5% of all their lifetime profits from the referral link.

What are some value-adding ways to convince people to use my Referral Link that allows me to get 5% of their profits (instead of just opening a new tab and signing up themselves)?
