College -> Fastlane, Forget the Rat-Race

    INTRO
Mattie, great points. But I think he wants to build a crypto educational platform and then sell the users/database/email list to 3rd parties. And upsell everything possible for crypto. Basically a user oriented business where you monetize the userbase. Crypto is still a very.... ehhhh market...

In that case, if you have VC interest, then snag it ASAP. Before crypto funding hype mania drys up and normalizes. If you ever are offered money in exchange for equity for a business with no immediate revenue opportunities, then GET THE MONEY :D

This sounds very slowlane, you're making a few assumptions 1) That you'll get VC funding for a free platform with no revenue yet. 2) That you'll go viral/gain paid users from the free content... Usually freebie seekers are always freebie seekers. 3) That you'll eventually make money with it...

Article 13, EU "end of the internet"

    HOT!
Just thought I'd post about this in here, sorry if its the wrong section. Didn't see anyone post about it, and considering many members were concerned with GDPR, this one seems WAY worse. I hardly see any news coverage on this... Save Your Internet – Delete article 13 • r/europe Save Your...

Walmart Buys Flipkart and Flipkart affiliate program is nearly over

Yup, no control. They run the campaign budgets, the %'s, the marketing rules, the payouts, can even suspend you for "fraud"

Should you worry about the competition? I'm afraid to scale

Finding myself worrying about the competition, I have a few new ideas in the space that I'm in, and I'm afraid that the competition will copy it. Which has me thinking thoughts like... "Hmmm maybe I should make a separate site so they won't see it" and things to "hide" from the competitors. How...

AndyBlack's advice on helping people vs conversion rate

    MARKETING
So I originally ignored his advice, found here The biggest landing page mistake That did not go well... got nowhere. Then I embraced his advice, it went really well actually for about 2 weeks. Then I went all "tactics" on my website and marketing, because I thought... "Well I can add this on...

Applying FastLane Principles to Finding Love?

    PEOPLE HOT!
You seem to be cherry picking only people who agree with you. I'd HIGHLY advise against that. That never ends well... I speak from experience. I ignored people's advice on this forum for a while, and cherry picked my own bullshit and paid the price. Now I'm actually getting results with the...

    GDPR. Anyone figured this out?

    HOT!
Technically yes. But in reality, I don't think so. It's not enforceable beyond the EU. This reminds me of the digital product VAT moss mess. There was huge panic, and now a ton of big US saas companies don't even bother with it. With that said, since the EU is very money hungry and borderline...

    GDPR. Anyone figured this out?

    HOT!
I'm not a lawyer, but if you're not a citizen of the EU, then none of this is really needed. Unless you have a physical office in the EU somewhere or bank accounts in the EU.

How I Generated Over $1,000,000 In just 2 Months This Year Dropshipping With Shopify

Love this! I bookmarked this post so I can keep coming back and picking out the gold. 2 Questions 1) Did you find free traffic to be effective at all? Or should someone just skip straight to paid? 2) What are the biggest mistakes you've made when scaling?

Anyone else addicted to checking stats?

About 2 weeks ago, Haha yeah, but I don't know if its helping me or hurting me. I think 200 is too much, maybe its best to check a few times throughout the day to keep up moral? Or should I just plow through the day and then check and see a bigger change than the small changes throughout the day?
