How do I approach companies to find problems?

Cheers for response. Wouldn't all companies use tech though? Why do you suggest tech only?

How do I approach companies to find problems?

Hi, I'm living in the UK and would like to find a company within an industry to find out what their problems are so I can find solutions. Do you think it would be productive to just pick an industry (like taxi firms or car mechanic garages) and have a conversation with a few of them to get an...

Thanks for the advice. Did you do this when first starting off?

Would you get insurance when running fitness lessons?

Ah okay that isn't that much money to risk then. Cheers for that. I'm in Brum so Soton is a bit far from me. Maybe one day there will be a fitness class there and I can fix the lard arse :P

Would you get insurance when running fitness lessons?

I plan to run some fitness lessons. I found a gymnasium that I can rent for £16/hour. I want to start pretty soon so I can see if there is as much a demand for it in my area as I predict. I have no experience in running fitness lessons. I will be running them with my friend and we are both ex...

Would you still start an idea if you're not sure how big the need is?

    IDEA
I had an idea yesterday of starting a cattery. I've looked in my local area and there are a few. Non of them look like they have good websites or offer interesting things like live webcam feed of their cats. The problem is I would have to get a bit of land to run a cattery as I couldn't do it...

When you don't have ideas. What should I do today?

    IDEA
At the moment I have no ideas for want I want to pursue. What should I do about that? I feel like I should be doing something today but not sure what that thing is. I'm sick of reading and watching videos about stuff.

I'm not sure if my idea is profitable. How could I investigate it?

    IDEA
Hi, I'm thinking of helping people by making sure their car tyres are pumped enough, oil, coolant and windscreen wipe are at the correct levels. People would be able to order a "mini service" with an app and I will come to their house and do it. I'm thinking around £5-10 is what I'd pay but...

Has what you started off with gone in a completely different direction? Is that okay?

What feedback would you monitor? What people like about what you're doing?

Has what you started off with gone in a completely different direction? Is that okay?

Hi, I have some experience with programming and I think it's my best skill at the moment to offer with a business. My idea is to start helping people with websites or making an application that could help them. I'm working in my current job and then quit as soon as I feel a little traction to...

    One Month, One Hundred People

    EXECUTION
With Control you need to think of what platforms you will distribute on. If your game in on Steam or an app store then you don't have much control over it. Terms could change pretty fast. It would be better if you could sell the game directly on your own site but people are less willing to do that.
