Banks like GS, JP Morgan, MS, Barclays, Citigroup, CS, Macquarie Group?
We all are familiar with their old model where they'd by assets up at any cost, sell off divisions and refloat the asset on the market with huge placement and ongoing management fees attached or alternatively they'd use insane amounts of leverage to buy up cash flowing assets.
Is this a business model that is going to cease existing, are the smart guys making moves onto a new model of some sort or is this model going to stay around for a little longer and make inroads into emerging markets?
