SEO and Domain name

Hello everyone, I've done research on the Internet, and most sources said to have your keyword in your domain that your attempting to rank for. All things being equal, i.e. video marketing, article marketing, site being SEO optimized, does it really affect your site's ranking if you don't have the direct keyword in your domain.

For example, if I'm targeting the keyword electric scooters, and this is taken, would the domain electric scooters direct really make a difference. Thanks everyone Roc

Yes, having the keywords in your domain would make your site rank quicker in an organic way. You could also do back linking which would help with ranking. If electric scooters is taken try modifying the domain.

They lowered the value in exact match domain names, but it is still helpful. It is just not as necessary as it was.
