A friend of mine has recently found a job in London and is in the process of looking for an apartment to rent. He has a few questions and would appreciate your response:

1. What is the most convenient location to rent in London in terms of access to transportation and a decent neighbourhood.

1. What is the most convenient location to rent in London in terms of access to transportation and a decent neighbourhood.

Near any underground station in zone 1 or zone 2. I lived in Paddington for 5 years and loved it, but it's very expensive now. If I was a young gun moving to London I'd live in either of the 2 areas highlighted in the attached picture.
