Was a good episode.

Cubans main point was that we need to train our citizens (U.S.) to depend on our intellectual capital. We are no longer a society of manufacturing etc...We have the best ideas, and if you cannot function in this type of world you will not make it (internet, business, ideas etc...).

Pickens spoke about natural gas and how we should be focusing on that instead of being in the middle east.

Yea Tboon Pickens has millions and millions invested in natural gas.

He has taken out full page ads as well as tv commercials saying how we have to stop being help hostage by oil. Doesn't mention he will make billions if we do

That being said I do agree we have GOT to get away from being dependent on the middle east.

I agree 100% with Mark Cuban. The best thing you can do for your country is to get filthy rich. WHY? Entrepreneurs create jobs and value and wealth. Not only do they get rich but they make others rich.

Most Entrepreneurs become philanthropists, they become VC's. They allocate resources efficiently. They are the solution to the a lot of the problems in this country.

Not sure why so many Americans tout the middle east (Saudi) as their largest exporter of foreign oil, when its been us crazy Canuks (Canadians) for several years...not sure who it's been this year though

I want to get rich for me not my country.... This country (IE Government) has done nothing, but slow the process. But he is correct that being rich is good for the country.

Me being rich isn't however because it means I am done here.

Great question. I too wonder the same....

As far as I can tell, this is it. I don't see other places with the opportunities you find here in the USA. Would love to hear from the experts about this same topic.
