Hi guys,

I have recently founded my own clothing company and am trying to reach out to suppliers/brands to bring in an initial stock supply to sell on my website.

Unfortunately and, probably understandably, most brands aren't really willing to give a newcomer with no established website a shot unless they have a host of other brands laid out online.

The problem is, I NEED those suppliers that are turning me down in order to start selling and then attract more & more suppliers.

I'm sure this applies to most businesses and not just the clothing industry, so I was wondering if anyone on here had any ideas for getting around this? Or has anyone been in my shoes before as a start-up?

It's incredibly, incredibly frustrating that I've read dozens of business books & online sources and have never really came across one outlining solutions to this problem.

Thanks in advance,
Ryan
