Hello everyone!
I'm currently reading the last chapters of The Millionaire Fastlane . It's been a very compelling book so far.
While doing some online research I found this forum - and here's my introduction!
Last year, I received my graduate degree in communications (public relations) and journalism. Since then I'm stuck in the Slowlane. Right now, I'm in civil service until March. For the time afterwards I'm looking for a job.
I read the thread from Tropcal Guy "Joined fl late 2007..." where advices to get a job with a successful entrepreneur. I looked around in the local start-up community to get a job in an uprising business, but I couldn't find anything so far.
My plan right now is find a 80% job in the public relation field and use the security of the slowlane job try out opportunities. To start different projects and try figure out what works and what doesn't.
Speaking about taking action, I started my first project. It's a website that connects graffiti writers with people that are interested in hiring them for painting a logo or some other creative project. It is a local site based in my home country. If anyone is interested in this I can expand that a little.
I don't think it has great fastlane potential. But it's a fun project that could get me a little side income. I didn't want to be one of these guys doing nothing while waiting for the perfect idea. By working on this project I might encounter some unsolved problems or some bad solutions to these problems that I could improve. I try to get attuned to the fastlane mindset.
As a hobby, you might guessed it until now, I do legal spray paintings and canvases and play guitar in a band.
I'm 25 years old and from Switzerland. I'm interested in getting together with some like-minded people on a regular basis. If someone is in a mastermind group or wants to take a newbie under his wing, hit me up with a PM.
