I had this idea for a web application a while back, and recently realized it already exists online (and its quite successful). But like MJ said's
"Its ALWAYS Being Done, But You Can Do It Better"
But i was wondering if i decided to pursue this idea, eventhough it already exists (i believe i can do a better job, they outsources the programming and won't be able to change as quick as i can to customer needs) And i believe i can market it better, are there any legal ramifications for emulating the core idea e.g. (company sue me for taking their idea)
The idea isn't like some unique software, or requires hardcore programming. Its like emulating facebook, fiverr, ebay or those employement sites like guru, elance, etc. But making it better e.g. faster, better functions, etc.
Anything i can read about this topic would be highly appreciated.

Scuderia
