how would you approach this - web design sales call

there's a local player in my town who's getting drafted to the nba, basically i want to do his website. what's the best way you think of selling our services to him?

i thought about making some custom twiter backgrounds similar to this - Miami Heat on the Behance Network and sending it to him.

Assuming that you have a portfolio to show I would focus on ideas / ways to get into contact with him, especially bc youre from his town you have a local bonus (if your work is nice...)

sidenote: maybe a website wouldn't be on my mind at all if i was an athlete who prepares for the nba

that was sample work for our porfolio. it wasn't done for them per se.
