How To (basically) make Shit Fly on Facebook

Disclaimer: this page is not related to me at all and the only purpose I'm posting the link here is so that we can learn by observing the phenomenon.

I can't believe so many people are sharing this page:

It clearly is a spam-fake page which has only 1 picture/post and has grown 100K+ fans in just 1 day by promising 2 free cars via inbox lol

This seems to work especially well on Holiday session.
Although I strongly dislike this practice, maybe there may be a few lessons to learn here.

What about legal issues? I mean if they promise a Mercedes cant ppl start suits against them if they dont win?
They dont even have terms for this giveaway so may a good lawyer could also sue them.

Also what will they do with the page if they have more likes? Change name, titel, delete posts and sell it? Curious.

I used to do stuff like this when I was younger and didn't understand the legal consequences that could come my way. Most likely they bought 20-30 in facebook ads and then let it go viral. As far as what they'll do with the page, I don't know if they can change the name. Chances are they're going to try to milk it and use it for CPA or some other dumb stuff.

Defiantly will stay tuned to see what these guys do with it.

The only country where suing is worth it is in the USA. any other country it would cost you more than you get back
And as long as you do your business from outside of the USA they don't have any reach anyways. reason why I'll never be based in the USA.
Good places to protect yourself from getting sued are european islands like malta, cyprus and crete. Nobody cares about laws there, and if you get sued you just give the judge and his or her family a vacation and that's that.

Italy is a ridiculous country to do business in, and I'm sure as hell not starting a company based here. I would spend 10k just for the paperwork.

Mje the islands that I mentioned does have an irritating government if they want to be irritating, but they also have no ability to check.
So you can actually start a "non-registered" online company there without a problem.
With a normal store you might have to actually pay some taxes but still pretty safe from lawsuits.
