Hi Fastlane Community,
Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. My name is Chris and I’m 31 years old and reside in Newcastle, Australia. I currently work as a management accountant at an IT software company. Ive been in management accounting roles for the last 8 years since getting our of university, and have hated it since day 1, but just kept plugging along hoping something better would fall on my lap, which we all know was never going to happen. So about 5 years ago i thought to myself I will make a change and went back to university to get another degree, which i just completed in Construction Management. Now I am not riddled with debt as our degree's in Australia are much cheaper than those in America, however I have wasted significant "time" in something that I do not beleive will acheive the lifestyle I desire.
Now there is no one to blame for this except myself as I am the one who made the decisions that have lead me to this point, but I must now draw a line in the sand and say that I am committed to leaving the slowlane and jumping into the fastlane.
A few questions for the fastlane community if you don’t mind:
I’m looking to understand more around eCommerce and understanding what’s required in setting up and running a website selling niche products. Can anyone suggest some good points of reference around this like websites / books / blogs / articles etc.
Thanks in Advance
Chris
