Out of curiosity, how many of you that have been running their own businesses for some time also have a partner/fiancé/wife that is doing the same thing?

Both myself and my other half started on our own (separate businesses/ventures to each other) straight out of university 5 years ago. Though it was really hard and put a lot of financial pressure early on I feel like we are so much closer and compatible as a result. For example we both get what it feels like to be under high amounts of pressure, the kind you don't quite experience when working for someone else. I found the bit in the book about your partner sometimes being a big barrier to progression towards an entrepreneurial goal interesting. It made me realise how different our relationship dynamic may well be compared to many.

I'd be interested to hear your business relationship with your current/past partners.

Thanks for making this thread. I can't contribute, but am looking forward to learning from those of you that have this figured out.
