Every time I go to a website. I see ads...on banners and sidebars. How do these ads work? How do I get advertisers on your page? Is it A pay per click thing? Or a traffic thing?And how much money can u make advertising?

The ads are usually displayed by a 3rd party agency, you sign up with them, you put a code on your website, and they take care of everything else.

You can usually make between 1 to 10$ per 1000 page views if you are a beginner, depending on your niche, using standard ad networks - most famous is google adsense.
