He was assigned an order ID (12491) but it stills just waiting to confirm payment. Does this mean he is in, or could it still not go through if there is an issue with his payment method or something?

I think once the ticket is in the cart, it is reduced from the pool so he should be OK. Let me know if it does not work.

Technically we sold out in about 18 minutes. I ended up having to add to the ticket pool so now I think there are 8 tickets left.

MJ - a friend of mine overseas is desperately trying to get one (he set his alarm at 2am there now to wake up so he wouldn't miss it).

I'm in Colorado (a stone's throw away from Phoenix compared to most), and didn't get up at o-dark-hundred to score a ticket like your friend had to. I would have been shamed to the point of not even coming back to this forum for a month if I didn't at least give it a try!

I personally wouldn't assume anything unless it says "sold out".

3) Watch the ticket-swap thread (when it comes live) as people who bought tickets might have some unforeseen circumstances which prevents them from going. You guy buy their ticket from them.

I came on at 9:59 today to buy tix... Spend 15 minutes refreshing from multiple browsers stuck at checkout and nothing processing. I'm not one to complain, I paid a premium though to fly from Canada to AZ and join this event as my 2nd year in a row now.

Can you check to see if one was purchased through my name or would this automatically show up in my email?

Thanks, will keep an eye out. Missed it for the dumbest reason and kicking myself. Maybe it's the kick in the a$$ I've been needing for a while... everything happens for a reason!
