Wow, times flies by.
A little over a year ago i was bored at work and started researching how do people afford these high end super cars.I had just finished my bachelor's, and first year in corporate IT. I only knew of going to school and working your way through corporate or making the next big app/site like facebook. I looked at Forbes and started to see the word entrepreneur everywhere. Then somehow i landed on the forums and bought the book.
I took a few months learning and playing around with some things where i lost some money here and there and had a few roadblocks. Then met with a group of likeminded people on the forum in February. Ever since then it has been pedal to the floor. We talk almost every day and bounce ideas and helpful tips around. Even try to meetup every few weeks(been kinda hard for me to attend, i do when i can) I still work my IT Corporate job, and a side job on the weekend(fri, sat, sun) and i'm almost done with Grad school.
Lifes great, i no longer stress about how things will get paid, or can i do this or that..and Ive been on over 8 vacations ..this year...
Between the fast and slow lane i already cleared 6 figures this year and still have a few months to go...the information is everywhere ,you just have to apply it to what you know. If you don't know anything just pick something and go with it...and learn as you go...im a rebel so i actually went with something everyone said dont do and it has paid off pretty good...also why im still in school, and still working ...when everyone is like quit the slowlane ....dont go to school....blahh blah blahh
Thanks to @MJ DeMarco and everyone on the forum for opening my mind to see a different side of life instead of the normal work until your 60 and hope to retire life. I learned more this year at 25 than i did in any semester of school.
Now i'm starting to think of my next project with the help of a couple people on the forum and will be launching a new progress thread soon, now that i have more seed money to start with.
a lot can change in a year...start today!
