Stuck on 'Inactive Conversion Tracking' (Google Ads)

Hello Ads,

I'm trying to start a second campaign for my dad's construction company. However, it does not start since it needs the setup to be done on the fourth step, conversions. I attach a photo image of what I see. I had a previous campaign that started without this step so not sure what to do here.

The original website is www.pintachile.cl and if I had to choose a convertion, maybe when they send the form or click on the whatsapp icon?

Any help to get this moving would be appreciated

1) Have you set up Conversion Tracking on the website? If you haven’t, then do that.

2) Have you set up relevant conversion events in Google Ads? If not, then do that.

3) Is your website using a cookie plugin that only fires Google Ads tags if they accept cookies? If so, everything may be working fine, but it will say it’s not working because the google crawler doesn’t accept cookies.

Here is what I did in the meanwhile. I created a Whatsapp click tag in Google Tag Manager (it worked).

For points 1 and 2, my question would be how do i make sure the conversion event is the one i created in Google Tag Manager?
