Local bank is offering 1) 0.85% CD for 13 months OR (unbelievably!!) 1.75% for 47 months

Hahaha what is so sad about this is that both of those return rates are at least 50% below the current inflation rate. Awesome!

No shit! I actually remember now getting something close to that with PMCU some years back when they had a promotion. Navy Fed and PMCU both have always had some good deals but 5% is absurd with a ZIRP. Too bad the max is $5k(that sounds familiar from PMCU too).
