Wow, ROBLOX is super predatory to their young developers

Anything considered a "hustle" and not necessarily a CENTS-based Fastlane

Came across this video of a guy who investigated the development/payout scheme behind ROBLOX devs, whom are usually kids. Long story short, ROBLOX sells the idea that anyone can easily create an experience (game) and make money... however, they get paid in Robux (fake company money) which has a horrendous exchange rate to real dollars, not to mention getting your game noticed is super difficult. In short, there is an extreme violation of the commandment of Control, among CENTS commandments.

I saw this video not too long ago...

It's funny, if they taught UnScripted in schools, kids wouldn't fall for this stuff. Their parents should be wise to this but unfortunately, the vast percentage of people in this country simply don't have a grasp on this kind of thing.

This is yet another reason games are a massive time waste.. perhaps, with NFT's and open source "metaverse" (not FB) "internet 3.0" "decentralized" development, future generations can actually have control over their creations in a more accessible way, e.g. roblox.

It's ironic, Roblox is so focused on short term gain they will probably miss this wave and be massively disrupted by new suites of open source devtools designed for kids.
