The real value, to me anyways, is what people are willing to pay for it.

The cost of making it is a different story and shouldn't be of concern. You'd have to consider the thousands of hours+++ that went into the software, research, etc... IMO, this sounds like a waste of time to be thinking about what the margins of apple are.

I think its foolish to just think, well the components cost this much, so they should charge this much right?
Well theres a small part you glossed over,

the F*cking BRAND

People don't buy Apple products based on the premise of price alone.

They pay for style, status, reliability and PURE PRODUCTOCRACY
Marketing, Excitement, Beauty.

Apple products are so hot, that hell, people couldn't give a F*ck about the price. Not a single F*ck. They want the products so bad, they lust for them. THATS the kind of product you want to focus on making.
