Just joined yesterday. Ordered the book UNSCRIPTED last night on Kindle.
It is almost like I am seeing pictures, especially when I got to the quote “despite being a creative, left-handed, crayon-the-wall deviant who loved math as much as a prostate exam”
I am left handed with a creative mind, from the inner city of Detroit, but who was groomed by my society (Parents, Grandparents, Older Cousins) to go to college get a degree. I rebelled and went into the military BUT , while in the service, got the degree as suggested by my mother, Computer Science, and an advanced degree in Business Management. This was all just parental programming. I don’t even like Computers like that!!!
Both my parents retired and died. My Father in his early 50s and my Mom in her early 60s. NEVER enjoying the ‘Golden Years’
