Just some mini rant I wanted to post.
When you are marketing a product or a service, do you keep in mind WHO is actually buying the product or service? Take some time to really think about it on a deeper level, not just oh lets throw some money on ads like blindly throwing darts and hoping you get a bullseye.
You need to break down ''the customer'' to a different level, a business is a or group of people with a product or service provided to other human beings on the planet. Try to visualize that person.
Imagine the daily life of a parent, what would be a common problem for them? I'd make a wild guess and say proper nutrition for their child, with the constant marketing of big brand cereals (false advertising) buying cereal is a quick fix to a screaming & hungry child in the morning. Does a parent really have time to dress a kid, dress themselves, shower & get ready for work and then make breakfast for them self & kids? What's the solution to that? Here, take some milk and throw it in the bowl & dump in some cereal, it tastes AWESOME to!
The global breakfast cereal market size was valued at USD 37.44 billion in 2016. It is projected to expand at a CAGR of 4.3% from 2017 to 2025.
I'm not a parent & can barely manage my own life let alone another life, could you empathize with a parent and place yourself in their shoes? Time management is a huge issue, especially for the lower and middle classes that need to slave away at a corporate job, send the kids off to school, or drive them to x & y location. So here's a problem you can solve if you are up for the challenge, how about an actual healthy type of cereal? That's just one example, I'm sure there would be a market for it... building it would be one heck an issue though. Hopefully I got my point across, empathize and visual the lives of other people, what their problems, struggles and inconveniences are, solve them and become compensated from it in the way of value vouchers.
Don't treat other human beings in the world as just people that give you money, they are people that need to have your product or service, because without it... their life wouldn't be as amazing, and when it's a great service or product, you don't need to spend thousands of dollars on advertising.

If you can't make a customers life better, maybe you are in the wrong biz. Have a good day!

- What do they do with their free time?
- What is their daily schedule like?
- How can we make something better, or improve something about their life?
- When they buy the product, where do they put it? In the kitchen? Inside their room? What type of packaging is it? Enviroment friendly? Or plastic? (shame on you if so)
- If it's a service, how do the employees look? Clean shaven? Dirty? Nice uniforms? How does the employee treat the customer?
