Recommendations on taking and organizing notes

I love to take notes with pen and paper.

Something about it helps thoughts "stick".


Sometimes I want to digitize these, but it's difficult. I'm currently typing the important ones by hand.


I've looked at digital pens, and all of them have horrible reviews.


What do you guys use?


Things I would love:

1. Translate my handwritten notes to searchable text
2. The ability to save my notes into folders on my computer (without scanning).

All the top note taking software will achieve what you desire.

If you use an iPad I can recommend Notes Plus but if you like to see your writing converted to text on the fly look at Nebo (basic version is free).

I lot depends on the features you will use the most.
