You can do this when meditating, walking, working, relaxing, pretty much any situation, anywhere and at anytime.

Super easy way to "check in": get into the habit of using a 30 seconds timer and so some box breathing a few times a day.

Just inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds. Repeat until the timer goes off.

When you get to the point where you start randomly realizing that you're not aware... And just automatically holding your breath for a few seconds...
That's life-changing.

EDIT: Obviously, if you can do more than 30 seconds, that's better. My point was that it takes very little to make a difference.
