@ZCP @BizyDad I've found an idea i believe will be valuable in the push notification niche. I think its an overlooked value skew that could definitely be useful with this growing market and our dopamine addicted culture. Although designing the prototype will take time and I'm starting from scratch, I know this is something people will want in the future. So, thank you for your previous advice and I hope to keep hearing from you as I truly start my Fastlane journey.
Starting today, this will be my progress thread. I've been researching the basics on what push notifications are and what separates the good from the bad. Essentially the CTR for push is much higher than email (around 10x according to OneSignal) but its also real easy for abuse by companies. Its also a really young technology, coming from 2009 with Apple's push notification service (APNs) and accessible on most platforms (OS, iOS, android) for businesses to implement. People find them mostly annoying because of spam usage, irrelevancy, and terrible timing.
If you can learn how to use them properly and aren't using them yet, then there's a whole lot of value in store for your business to reap in the future. A couple tips with that include not asking clients for notification permissions IMMEDIATELY. Let them take some time to learn what value they receive from your business and only then explain how your push notifications will help THEM use your service. Also, don't make it difficult to opt out.
