Whenever you feel your age is against you , realise there are older people slugging away ie me, and I won't give up , as the man said, today is the first day of my life and your life, just go for it mate.

47 in a couple of months and still figuring things out and learning. When you stop trying to figure it all out you're probably dead. or should be.

 

Yes, it seems age is a barrier but we can't let that stop, or worse, scare us. As others have shown us - it isn't real.

 

I don't think you're late. If you see life as a journey, you showed up at the absolute perfect moment in your story.

Welcome. You think you're too old. You have a lot of time to make it all work. I'm a lot older than you and I'm still trying...

 

Look at the way the world is turning. Age means wisdom and kids are lost because of divorces, no-time daddies, lack of jobs etc. It paints a grim picture but you have life experience.

So I'll quote Einstein: It's all relative
And Fight Club: You are still part of the middle children of history.

Having said that, the body doesn't lie. Look after yourself. *disclaimer* ;-)

46 is the new 36. If you look at the folks today, you'll see a lot of them are more trendy and likely look younger than the previous generation were at their age. Plus....human life expectancy is rising, and has been over the years. I'm 34 meaning I'm only 24.
