My name is John. I'm living in southern California. I am 74 years. My handle here is WriteasRain! I am glad to be here. I would like to thank The Fast Lane Forum owner and moderators for allowing me to join and participate here. I am also in the Warrior's Forum [Copywriting area, of course]. I am probably going to read some posts in here, first. I have been studying copywriting my entire reading life. Meaning checking out newspaper, tv, magazine and now email, direct mail and various social media ads.

As for actually consciously pursuing copywriting as an actual lifestyle and career, probably more actively in the last few years. I consider myself to be a fairly good writer. However, as we all know, learning is an experience that goes on, neverending.

I am fairly acquainted with the basic general rules of basic copywriting. But, like I said, when you think you know it, along comes a new, maybe even better rule or idea. So, I'm very open to learning as I go.

If you check me out in Warrior's Forum, you will see I have submitted some copy i wrote [ an ad] for Craigslist. It's an ad for redworms castings and my first truly conscious attempt at using what I have learned about copywriting.

In conclusion, again, thanks to TFL and MJ for allowing to be here and it's a pleasure to meet each and every one of you who read this or any other post that I author. Then, there's always the possibility that I have stumbled into the wrong forum as I am trying to learn copywriting and the more I am looking, maybe i have made a wrong turn. I'll wait
a bit and see....
