If you haven't yet, take the Love Language assessment to figure out what things in life mean the most to you in a relationship/how you receive love. You can find it here. Once you have that established, it's much easier to select gifts for someone. The only hard person to shop for is the person you don't know -and no, money has nothing to do with it. Brownie points for you if you have the wife take it herself & figure out how to give the best gifts to her.
