"Buy Low, Sell High"

As many of us have heard of this adage, "buy low sell high". However, what I sometime find a little challenging as an investor is to determine whether or not the low price won't still go even lower? Anyone have any good advice or know of some good sources that might provide some helpful information on this topic? I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
