I really like the point that MJ has stated in which a set business model is useless because the market itself will give your business feedback on what your changing business model should actually be.
The reason I like this concept so much, other than the fact that it's true, is because it is a direct parallel to the concept of survival of the fittest. When Darwin stated survival of the "fittest" he was not referring to the strongest or biggest or even the smartest. When he said "fittest" he was referring to the species or entity most likely to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
I like to see this in the light of businesses and the marketplace. A business that survives and grows is a business that adapts to the constantly changing environment of the marketplace.
Keep that in mind all ye business owners and entrepreneurs.
