I 'made it' and all I got was an existential crisis

    MINDSET
Not that fast. The education system is run by people in their 40s to 60s who are hesitant to embrace AI. In the tutoring sector you're usually selling to parents who are again in their 40s or so. Not exactly early adopters. But then again, no one can predict the future and AI has made huge...

Thanks for sharing and glad to hear you made it through in one piece! I like the spring analogy.

Thanks for your input. I'm not really coming here for advice, more so to share my anecdote, maybe it could be interesting for some. I've been working with psychologists and it's been somewhat helpful. And yes, I'm definitely not done, there is levels to this game and I've only reached level 10...

I 'made it' and all I got was an existential crisis

    MINDSET
I would just be relaxing and thoughts like "why is there something instead of nothing" and other existential questions would just hit me out of nowhere. There was also a feeling of doom and that things just weren't right. I became anxious that I would go insane or into psychosis.

I 'made it' and all I got was an existential crisis

    MINDSET
After 4 years of hard work, I 'made it'. I don't have to work anymore, at an age of 27. While I can't eat in michelin-star restaurants every day, or buy a lambo in cash, my company generates enough money for me to live very comfortably, and all I do is a weekly meeting with the CEO. 60 minutes...

    Is SEO even worth it?

    MARKETING
We are not generating any sales from organic as I have spent 0 time on SEO or content marketing. We are getting sales solely from PPC and refferals. I need to get more familiar with Google Analytics, thanks for the reminder. Thanks for the offer on traffic analysis as well but I got that...

    Is SEO even worth it?

    MARKETING
Thanks for your response, 1. Our revenue for the upcoming month will be 5-7k USD, with a slight profit margin (just made my first hire, not counting independent subcontractors) 2. While I can't speak for what results this person has produced, the company has roughly a billion dollar revenue if...

    Is SEO even worth it?

    MARKETING
I run a tutoring business and our website is a simple one-page site, but I've gotten mostly good feedback on it. We also run Google Ads to dedicated landing pages which are even simpler. The goal is to simple get a phone number lead, or engage them with the on-site chat, and get them on the...

    Hi from Norway

    INTRO
Thanks for the welcome. I do not have a coach. I like the idea of going at it alone, no coach, no partners. That is the image I have in my head, to truly succeed I must go at it alone. I think it enables me to go deeper within myself and increases my level of accountability but I realize it...

Can't Hurt Me - David Goggins

100%. Read this book last summer and it blew me away. One of my main takeaways: there is so much greatness inside of us but we have to be willing to suffer. He also inspired me to start running. I HATE running. Yet just ran my first 10k, and now I love to hate running if that makes sense. "You...

John Warrillow ‘S Built to sell and The Automatic Customer

I read Built to Sell, great little book. It is akin to E-Myth Revisited which I also really liked. I see them both as roadmaps for how to build a business which is sellable, detached from the owner/founder.

You can always start a specialized clinic while focusing on building a strong brand for it, potensially turning it into a franchise down the road. Welcome to the forums, best of luck!

    Hi from Norway

    INTRO
Hi, decided to make an introduction as I've recently been lurking more on the forums. I'm from Norway and got into the whole "self-improvement" thing when I was 19-20, and that led to me getting interested in business/entrepreneurship. I was messing around, not really taking much action for a...

Hi Andy! Thanks for your posts on PPC and leadgen, they have helped me a lot. I work with math tutoring. We try to reduce the dropout rate of school by having bright students mentor younger pupils. Therefore I was excited when I stumbled upon your interview on soundcloud where you talk about...
