Expanding Outside Upwork -- Creating My Own Website, Email- and Direct Mail Campaigns + much more!

    EXECUTION
Sure, basically when I was writing copy for smaller businesses I bundled it up and offered a package that included a direct mail letter and a few Adwords variations. You can include whatever you want in this bundle and charge whatever you want -- I started off at $1,000. Then explain the...

Expanding Outside Upwork -- Creating My Own Website, Email- and Direct Mail Campaigns + much more!

    EXECUTION
From reading this, I get the vibe you're going after smaller business owners. Which is great because you've identified a target market. However, most small business owners have no idea what copywriting is. A solution to this is to package your service in a bundle such as an "Advertising...

Best way to target on Facebook ads?

Using Chrome, Firefox didn't work either. It's a strange issue for sure.

Best way to target on Facebook ads?

    HOT! MARKETING
Congratulations on all your leads! I don't mean to intrude your thread, but this question doesn't warrant a thread of it's own in my opinion and is somewhat related. Whenever I try to create ads on Facebook on my computer, the ads manager doesn't load -- yet it works fine on my phone. I've...

To What Extent are Old Sales Books Still Relevant Today

They're completely relevant. Human psychology hasn't changed in thousands of years. There were some fantastic sales books from the 1960's and even earlier. Don't limit yourself to only recent books.

    What is your reading setup?

    MINDSET
Absolutely hate ebooks, I need a physical book in front of me. I'll read it anywhere though: laying down in bed, at the beach, sitting, etc.

    Email Marketing Software Solutions!?

Aweber has worked beautifully for me and my business.

    Do Shopify guides/coaches exist?

    WEB/DIGITAL
I personally wouldn't buy anything but before I sold my Shopify store, the 2 people I followed the most were Colton Randolph and Dan Dasilva. Both are earning 7 figures (I believe) and know their shit.

    Buckle Up.

My advice about copywriting? Get off Upwork and network around to find clients. Send out a direct mail piece that packages up your copywriting service to seem sexy, throw in a case study, and you'll have several high-paying clients easily. Another piece of advice is to try and get clients on a...

Does Anyone Else Feel Bad for Everyone Without a Fastlane Mindset?

    RANT
Not really. So many people are comfortable working a 9-5 and I can respect that, it's ultimately their choice. I just hate when they try to preach to me about how entrepreneurship and a fastlane mindset is bad and that I should just get a 9-5.

Gee, Call Me Not Shocked... (Another Seminar Scam)

    HOT!
This. There's BS seminars everywhere, but some seminars are absolute gold. For example, Dan Kennedy. I would gladly pay 5 figures to attend a Kennedy seminar because I know he provides knowledge worth millions potentially.

The Vacation - A lesson in persistence

    MINDSET
Wow, I think I would have given up at some point there and found a resort in the US or something. Also you have quite a knack for storytelling; that's rare. Ever look into copywriting?

Facebook ads for niche travel site

    MARKETING
This isn't necessarily related to what you're asking, but will be invaluable to you nonetheless. Trying to sell to cold traffic via Facebook ads is what Dan Kennedy calls "selling a step too far." Instead, offer a free report to them that's related to your offer and build trust with them...

    You're Selling the Wrong Thing!

    MARKETING
Agree completely with this. One quote I always keep in mind while writing copy is "no matter what you're selling, you're selling hope."

How much sleep do you get?

    HEALTH
8 hours. Sleeping less may work for some people, but not me. The whole "grinding nonstop" thing is BS. I've found that the day after those late nights/early mornings my quality of work is a lot lower. But that's just me. It's all about finding your sweetspot.

Create a Home Based Web Design Business and Make R$15,000 + Per Month in 9 Months or Less.

    EXECUTION
Rather than cold calling, I'd focus on pull marketing. Offer a free report and give them an offer they can't refuse to become a client. You'll make infinitely more and your reputation will be much better.

Paid Copywriting Mentorship ( I'll Pay You )

    MARKETPLACE
Copywriting is an invaluable skill. I now typically charge close to 5 figures to write sales letters and I'm in ridiculous demand. If there's one skill I'd recommend anyone learn, it's copywriting. SinisterLex helped me realize the value of copywriting through his threads and if any newbie is...

What are your views on starting up a cafe business in Melbourne?

I'm not convinced that after all expenses there's much money in the cafe world. Read e-myth 2.0 if you're considering this though.

Lex DeVille's: 15 Days to Freedom - Make Money Copywriting in 15 Days or Less

    GOLD!
I agree in niching down. What I did is rather than specialize in a field (that'd get boring for me) I chose to only write sales letters and VSLs and be known for that. It makes sense because my best work is sales letters and I genuinely enjoy writing them. Stand out or you won't succeed.

Lex DeVille's: 15 Days to Freedom - Make Money Copywriting in 15 Days or Less

    GOLD!
That's the thing, I did spend 20 hours digging them up. You could hire a VA but I didn't. Most Clickbank sales pages have contact pages with an email.
