Building a Team of AR developers?

AR programming is no different than any other development. iOS and Android both have frameworks for AR that simplify things alot. App dev in general can be either very complex or very simple depending on your product. Before you build this, how have you validated that businesses want this...

    Journal of Next Business

    EXECUTION
@EasternCrane you're initial emails look like they provide 0 value to the recipients. You are cold emailing and asking for help with your business with no explanation of what is in it for them. Maybe try and think of ways you could help them in the first email. Example: freely providing some...

MJ's book made it to #7

I think people give the 4hww way too much shit on here. It advocates alot of the same principles as TMF/Unscripted, the title simply had the best conversion rate when tested was initially "drug dealing for fun and profit" or something like that in reference to the supplement company he was...

    I've Read UNSCRIPTED!

    GOLD! HOT!
I've read and highly recommended unscripted to several of my friends. Can't say enough good things. TMF was great but I think Unscripted really cements the ideas and stands strong alone. Well done @MJ DeMarco

Making Money With Web Design 2017/2018

    HOT!
I suggest that you redirect the previous pages to relevant pages on the new site after the code is swapped. Should be quick to do for each page on the current site listing. This may still impact SEO on google as any back links will now resolve as redirects but at least they will resolve to...

2017 Entrepreneur's Iceland Adventure - Join me on another bucket list trip

    MARKETPLACE
My girlfriend and I went to Iceland in June and we were blown away by it there. We did the 'inside the volcano' tour which involves a 5km hike through some lava fields and also rented some sup'd up side by sides which we drove 45 min into the mountains where they filmed part of "oblivion". Such...

    Suggestions for Hiring Content Writers

    MARKETING
Hello, I'm looking to hire a content writer for a website I'm releasing soon and was wondering if any members here had suggestions on sites other than the usual freelancing websites (ie upwork, writersaccess.com) which act as a middle man. I'd prefer to work directly with the freelancer and...

You can use an air I just wouldn't recommend it. I found in particular storyboards and interface builder becomes sluggish on the air. In terms of tools I'd say get the best you can afford if that's an air then so be it. You may be better off getting an older MacBook pro instead of an air for a...

Best way to target on Facebook ads?

    HOT! MARKETING
@CycleGuy mind elaborating on this? I keep hearing to go as narrow as possible on the audience. Why do you think this is a bad idea/throwing money away?

    Alternative to Paypal....Google Wallet?

Depends on how your site is built and what you are looking for (buy now vs recurring subscriptions). I found paypal to be a huge pain in the a$$ for implementing recurring subscriptions and in general I had a poor experience with it. 3 things to note: 1. Paypals documentation is garbage. They...

Not many cheap options for mac. I'd suggest go with a Macbook Pro over the other options. If this is going to be a dev machine it's well worth it (though the Pros are very expensive). I have an air and a pro. XCode can get sluggish on the Air (2013 model). My advice would be to see if anyone is...

    Best Copywriting Course

    MARKETING
I was just browsing Udemy for copywriting courses and found that there are a ton and quite a few well rated. Maybe I should just pick one but figured before I do I'd see if anyone of the members here have experienced any of the courses and have recommendations? In particular I'm looking for...

Can I possibly make this work?

    WEB/DIGITAL
You can definitely monetize 2-4K visitors but not with Adsense. You can monetize 1 visitor if you can sell them something. My advice is get away from PPC revenue unless you think you can drive MASSIVE traffic. What do the visitors of your website want? Are the wallpapers about something...

Hands down Swift for an iOS app. If Objective C was great why would Apple create a new language ;) If you are new to programming you will almost certainly run into less bugs and be faster with swift. There are a few reasons for this, but not having to deal with header files would be enough to...

    App Developer

Great point. Obviously my advice is filtered through my own biases, experiences, etc. I guess when I saw the reference to comp sci courses I just assumed (remembered) academia. Truth be told my first year intro classes were pretty practical and may in fact offer a better (read thorough - but as...

I agree get started. I would advise though.. you get what you pay for and would be wary of free tutorials starting out. I think it's worthwhile to pay for courses. This should ring especially true for the crowd here who values time over money. There are good free tutorials out there, stack...
