She said "you are so lucky"

Until you are made aware of something, it can seem invisible. Yesterday I was in the lift. The receptionist who works the front desk was on her way home. She was complaining about work and how she couldn't wait to get home. She noted that I only work a few hours a day. I told her that even...

Making Money is Like Losing Weight

It never really occurred to me until a few hours ago that making money is like weight loss. I work with people every week to get their mind right to lose weight, but the parallel to making money had eluded me. People gain weight over time and at the heart of it is maths. When their calories...

Spot the Hole In This Advice

They suggest you and your partner work 1 day a week and get 20k a year. That's $400 a week for 2 days work per week. Yes employers are lining up to employ "over 65's" one day a week and pay them $25 an hour for the privilege.

How to launch paid SaaS - advice needed

    SAAS / APPS
Im reading a couple of books on this. "The Start-up J Curve" and "The Membership Economy" Both are great books. Essentially for any marketplace you need people involved to make it grow. An app with very few sellers will attract few buyers and visa versa will wither and die. The more...

Spot the Hole In This Advice

Apologies HERE IS THE ARTICLE PASTED “YOU need $1 million in retirement”, say most financial planners. “Two million dollars might not even be enough”, wrote a financial planner in the newspaper recently. Stop! If you’re approaching your retirement these figures will likely scare the super...

    Stress & Anxiety

    MINDSET
Its probably out of the scope of this forum...but briefly I believe that anxiety is the anticipation of something bad happening. People who suffer from it play out negative scenarios in an emotionally associated way. This means they feel it like it is really going to happen. Anxiety sufferers...

    Beta Testing Fastlane SAAS

    SAAS / APPS
If it sounded like a trick question then perhaps it wasn't asked as best as it could be. Does anyone know of a source for Beta testers who have are capable of comprehensive testing of a Business SAAS app?

    Beta Testing Fastlane SAAS

    SAAS / APPS
I'm not sure if this is the right place. My software is almost at the Beta testing phase. In my past life in the IT area I've done a lot of testing but I need a fresh set of eyes on it. Does anyone have recommendations on how to get solid beta testing? Regards Gareth
