It's harder to start the longer you wait

    INTRO
I agree that the longer we wait, the harder it gets. The longer a particular habit continues, the stronger it tends to become. On the other hand I also believe that it's never too late to start.

Tim Ferris and concept of mini retirement.

Being retired doesn't guarantee happiness. There have been some cases of passive suicide (even active suicide) after people retire and become depressed because they feel useless to the world. Boredom really is a killer and idle hands are indeed the devil's workshop. I equate happiness with...

The future of Fastlane mentality and business implementation

Hey everybody. Do you think that Fastlane mentality and CENTS business models will eventually become mainstream anytime at all in the future? Or do you think it will always remain a relatively "underground" or non-mainstream business model? And why? Thanks.

    Anyone here use Robinhood?

    INVESTING
I know a lot of people who use Robinhood and I hear good things from them. Personally I don't use it (not because of any red flags I've perceived but because I've been with a separate brokerage for some years before I ever even heard about RH) but they seem to really like it.

How deep does this "FAKE GURU" market actually go?

    HOT!
He was on YouTube a few years ago making weight-loss videos with very few views, now he's selling a course on how to make money? Seems fishy to me.

    The Official Robert Greene Thread

    HOT! MINDSET
I'm a fan of Greene's books, but I'm more interested in the historical stories and sociological/psychological wisdom contained within them. I think if someone used his books as manuals for how to get to the top you'll likely attract a lot of enemies. I dunno. Very interesting material though. I...

Amazon announce min. hourly wage raise to $15

    OFF-TOPIC
Technology has always been the fastest growing industry within the lifetime of the human species. When our cave-dwelling ancestors first discovered ways of prolonging their likelihood to survive and get food, etc. it was due to some form of technology. Due to wars and natural disasters and...

I just left it at that. Didn't respond or really lose any energy or time over it after that.

So you want to flip used items and make cash? Cool!

    NOTABLE! SIDE HUSTLE
If you can, I suggest to buy used vehicles from Facebook Marketplace and flip them for thousands in net profit. There are some seriously undervalued prices there in the "vehicle" section. Also, wish.com has some items for way too cheap that can easily be flipped with extremely high margins. Very...

    Fastlaner Fitness Tips

    HEALTH
Also, you might want to give intermittent fasting a shot. I've done it before for a few months which helped me initially. Basically just don't eat until dinner time. Some good appetite suppressants include bone broth, popcorn (I used to substitute butter with olive oil) and sparkling water.

    Fastlaner Fitness Tips

    HEALTH
Well, when you begin to feel hungry don't eat anything. Ride that wave of intense hunger, eventually it'll go away. Once it goes away and you're no longer hungry, eat something. It's easier to eat more "boring" healthy foods at this point because you're not even hungry. Repeat this process...

    The Official Robert Greene Thread

    HOT! MINDSET
Robert Greene material is banned in the prisons here in Texas. They're considered tools for manipulation.

Anyone subscribe to The Wall Street Journal?

I'm an active investor and I find no particular value in the Wall Street Journal. At the end of the day (if you're investing) you're still going to have to do your own research and read annual reports and whatnot.

Is it a good idea to start a business where there's a ton of competition ?

    IDEA
If you can't beat them, join them. Get it patented and sell the patent to a large company for a ton of money. I'd suggest potentially working out a licensing deal.

    Morning routines

    OFF-TOPIC
I've heard that a lot of successful people have very specific morning routines upon awakening. Was curious if any of you folks have a specific routine you go through when you wake up. I'd provide mine but it's pretty boring and probably wouldn't add any value to your life.

My Brain: Greatest asset/ Worst enemy.

    MINDSET
Meditation has helped me (don't care if that sounds like a cliche) get through depression and recovery from addiction. Your mind is everything. The positionalities we hold in mind (even/especially the subconscious ones) manifest as our physical lives and experiences.
