I went for a drive today

    EXECUTION
I read a blog post from Start Up Bro's where they recommended just writing down every idea you have/had without worrying about if it's a good idea or not just to clear your mind so new ideas can emerge. I can tell you since I've started doing this new and random ideas are popping up almost...

Slurpees - a licensing Cinderella Story

I like this quote Those Slurpees came in at an astounding .18 cent cost factor, selling for a 1.99 per cup -- that's what made the store money.

    Help With Clothing Manufacturing

You should pick up or get a hold of some Fitness Industry guides. These are usually available at a trade show. Better yet before having anything produced buy a plane ticket to a trade show and visit the vendors in person. I think you'll be surprised at the number of USA based manufactures. I...

    Finally done it

    EXECUTION
Nice work getting your business going! Maybe I missed it but here are a couple of things I don't see 1. Did you test market your product before buying a containers worth? 2. Why would someone buy your product instead of whatever they've been using 3. your marketing guy might be great but it...

    Let's improve a 4 1/2 Star Product

Good point about inserting it into the bag then unfolding it once it's in the bag. So I guess I would ditch the velco and just design the way it folds and unfolds in such a way that there would still be 4 sides. Yes leaves compact themselves but the biggest problem I've had with paper bags it...

    Let's improve a 4 1/2 Star Product

I'm working on exercising the "business idea" part of my brain and would like to analyze and come up with ways to improve this 4 1/2 Star product that's listed on Amazon. (disclaimer I don't plan on getting into the lawn accessory business this is just for the practice unless of course we hit a...

"Get your hands out of your poop!"

    MARKETPLACE
Good idea! A few weeks back on Shark Tank there was a "bicycle" company that didn't target bike shops but went after daycare/child learning centers and sold them bikes along with a training program to teach kids how to ride. I thought this was a good move because the competition to get into the...

"Get your hands out of your poop!"

    MARKETPLACE
I deal with the same thing with my 2 year old daughter, always wanting to touch the diaper/butt. Nice job taking action throttleforward The biggest problem here is if your kid is going to daycare or doing anything without hovering over them the amount of germs and shit they are touching will...

Product Liability Insurance & Consumer Product Safety Commission

Have you gone to Babies R Us to see what similar products are doing? The company I work for imports product from China and we have to put a "this product contains a chemical known to cause cancer by the State of California etc..." warning on the packaging. Many of our competitors don't have...

Any LOW carbers around here? What kind of homemade snacks are you making?

Yes I know we need some carbs. One of the biggest things I've noticed since cutting out all the wheat/flour/sugar products is my "mental" energy and clarity seems to have improved drastically. I'm really starting to get fat adapted and don't get those low blood sugar drops anymore. Also don't...

Any LOW carbers around here? What kind of homemade snacks are you making?

I have also been making "bulletproff" coffee with unsalted irish butter and MCT oils. I think when people here butter they tend to think salted and or margarine. UNSALTED IRISH butter is the key and you have to blend it. Dave Asprey seems to have turned "Bulletproof" into a nice business. I...

Any LOW carbers around here? What kind of homemade snacks are you making?

Thanks for the replies. I've been experimenting with a low carb high fat recipe for a portable snack and while the product is pretty tasty it's really not portable. The biggest problem so far is it's not very durable like a powerbar/cliff bar/gel block type product.

Any LOW carbers around here? What kind of homemade snacks are you making?

I've been eating a really low carb diet the last couple of weeks trying to lose some body fat and was wondering what kind of homemade zero/low carb portable snacks are you making/eating? Specifically looking for ideas on food to eat during workouts(think 3 hour bikes rides, hikes, hunting...
