    Same thing happened with Namecheap last night. I was getting some domain names and they went down for nearly an hour right after 12am. You'd think a company that sells hosting would make sure their own servers are up to the task of handling Black Friday traffic.

    Great example, Wade. I struggle with that a lot too. Sometimes I put off doing things altogether because in my mind, the plan isn't "perfect" enough. Truth is, it probably never will be. Just gotta take action and figure it out along the way.

    From my understanding you're only allowed to run dating offers if you actually own the dating site yourself. At least that's how it was last I checked. Although given your site category, you're right -- I highly doubt you'd be able to run that on FB compliantly.

    I agree with @theag. You'd even be able to run ads yourself on Facebook since you own the dating site, something affiliates wouldn't be allowed to do.

    I'd be sure to keep a close watch on your affiliates and have them all on strict daily caps until you can gauge their lead quality. It's very easy to get crap quality leads in the dating industry, especially when affiliates try to get creative and start promoting your site as something it isn't.
