Yup. It's insane how we soak dead people with gallons of toxic chemical preservatives just so people can look at them for a few days before they get put in the ground, taking up extremely valuable real estate that could be better served for other purposes.

Fortunately, there is an alternative: "Green" burial. It's kinda like a bumper sticker I saw awhile back: "Buy Organic... What our grandparents used to call 'Food.'" Bonus: saves $10's of thousands on burial costs.
