Hi!

I'm new in the market research topic and I try to find as much validation for my ideas as I can. Moreover I'm looking for problems that I can solve and which industry it'll be good for me to start. So far I've heard that the best online tools for finding a need are: Google Keyword Planner, keywordspy, Quora, free market research reports, industry forums, Market Samurai, SEOquake, Alexa and good old surveys.

From my little experience there is one more idea how to find new needs in the web. I know a man who built a big community around his blog. Now he just ask his audience what problems they have and in return he gives a products which solve their problems. I think this is very good strategy but it needs time to build the community. It can takes few years, so I suppose it can be some additional idea.

I wonder what kind of tools are you using and which one is the best in Your opinion?

I think those are all good tools but I've recently realized that you need to get out of the house/off the web a lot of times. Looking around at your local mall (especially this time of year) can lead to many good ideas. Some of my best ones were thinking about problems or needs in my own life.

Good idea! I think about some surveys on the forums but looking around at local mall can be very inspiring.Samurai Market looks very interesting but its a little expensive for me. I'll try the trial version and see how it works. In addition I work on my survey that I can give some people and see what they say. I think the first problem of most of them will be "I don't have enough money":p.
