Persuasion is one of the most important skills an entrepreneur can learn.

The ability to sell your vision, ideas, products and services are crucial in order to become a sucessfull person.

I have always been fascinated by this topic and would like to know your opinion of public or fictitious figures who you consider to be highly persuasive (ethical or unethical).

I wanted to hear other peoples input.

Maybe we could all learn about a figure or two of whom we've never heard of.

Here are some of the people who I consider to be master persuaders.

Real
* Barack Obama
* JFK
* Steve Jobs
* Jordan Belfort

Fiction
* Yuri Orlov (Lord of War)

You didn't define whether the 'persuasive figure' had to be good or bad, so in that case Hitler should be added to that list, he managed to indoctrinate a whole country into believing and supporting his views, if he's not considered a persuasive figure, I don't know who is.

Oops... sorry about that.

And yes! He is a great example.

* When I stated Jordan Belfort, he used persuasion in unethical ways as well. (He did a pretty good job too)

I wanted to hear other peoples input. Maybe I could learn about a figure or two whom I've never heard of.
