Boom! :)

Just increased my LTC holding from 650 to 850 by playing the last dip.

Who said day trading is not worth it?

Only joking but, when you time it right, it can help you increase your coin stash.
Yeah today has been wild. BTC made a big drop too. The big question now is should you buy or see if it goes lower? hmmm lol. I am not good at gambling. I am going long on these...

I think I'll get some PPC and LTC and then just a few other ones. I have a lot of faith in PPC though.

Me too I have a ton of PPC, same with XPM. I also like NMC and PTS.

What do you guys think of RonPaul, Anon, Unobtanium, Franko as long term? They seem harder to mine and more stable.

http://techcrunch.com/2014/01/07/the-silk-roads-libertas-is-free-to-the-annoyance-of-us-authorities/

In related news, the millions of dollars in bitcoin seized by the FBI from Ross Ulbricht and the first Silk Road, currently stored in a set of online wallets, appears to be on the move. A source in the U.S. Justice Department said that “authorities” have access to the Ulbricht’s bitcoin cache and may be selling it off for less volatile currencies in the next few weeks. Ulbright has given the U.S. government the private keys to the bitcoins.

“The reason for selling is that the Government has lost faith in the value of bitcoin and does not want to deal with the volatility of the currency,” the source said. The wallets are publicly visible here and here.

I've been looking at purchasing mining equipment for the last few days, mainly reading on litecointalk and reddit. I've been using this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...eWVZcjJLWmhjaVBMTHVCR3l4eHc&usp=sharing#gid=0 and various price comparison sites for reference.

I recommend them for a scrypt miner. You get 1 btc if you order 5+ mh mining rig just use code 7KDINO http://dinosaurzombie.com/products/digger-1000-turnkey-dogecoin-litecoin-mining-rig

Whoaaa!! 175k btc dump ?!?! Super excited to buy in!!

Hmm, I wonder if the gvmt will use this hoard to undermine the public confidence (whatever that may be) in BTC? Like doing a few dumps spread out instead of one massive dump?

Knowing those who are into BTC it may actually have the opposite effect. But I agree with Alty on this one.

ha I like it. Would probably be the smart move. Actually I would be surprised if they didn't hold it. Actually doesn't that stuff just stay in evidence anyway? ;)

I like Unobtanium and I'm planning to start mining it when I get my ASICs.

2k in hardware for a 3MHash rig is pretty good. Right now, on an auto switch with 4MHash, I'm getting .03 to .05 per day, up to .07 per day in BTC. I will have made, profits, of about 800-1000, over 3 weeks, and I have had a couple days down.
I dont have that kind of hashpower, but what I've been doing instead of joining the multipools I look at coinwarz and I try to find coins where the difficulty is down and the multipools aren't hammering it, and mine some of those. Instead of looking at what the profitability is _right now_ to mine and dump, I'm trying to build a stash of different coins to hold for a short time and then slowly sell them out when prices rise (if they ever go up again lol).

I think you guys will like what we will be releasing for scrypt miners. It's a surprise though :p

Yeah, hopefully this will finally cause price to rise. I have been hammered lately in my bitcoin trading. Bitcoin trading is not all profits and fun.

Alty, there is that volatility you were looking for. 873.5 to 940 in 1.5 hours!

Can you buy fractions of bitcoins? I'm not sinking a grand into something I barely understand.
