What's your Lambo? (What are you working for?)

My lambo is mastery over myself, I want to be able to do things I think are impossible now. I want to be able to be free and get material wealth but more than the wealth itself I want the satisfaction and self-respect from taking the hard and less traveled road. I also want to have a unique life that isn't filled with typical regrets like following others, I want to the author of my own story.
That is a good jumping-off goal. Someday you may want to take it to the next level -- you may want to be the quiet, unseen catalyst for change and unsung source of unexpected acts of kindness in your little corner of the world. Think of all the good you can do with the trappings of your success from behind the curtain. You can give others who are struggling a hand up. If it weren't for some really good people who helped me when I was young, I wouldn't be where I am. Now, I try to do the same for others.

To continue with my thoughts on your post...
I don't try to follow others, but I do learn from them. I don't wanna waste my time and talents by reinventing the wheel.

I'm starting a new business and it involves machines and a long learning curve. I have hired a couple of people to help us with learning to set up and use those machines and the software to operate them. This coming Wednesday I am paying one lady double her usual rate to come to my office and help us set up the new embroidery machine -- rather than meeting us at the store where I bought the machine. Finding someone to help us learn all of this will cut down on the time and frustration for all of this stuff. The business is just another side gig, but it's fun. I'm hoping it will be profitable.

My second thought is that I most successful people find others to march with them. Being a lone wolf sounds very sexy, but it is generally unproductive. I can't do everything myself. I think of the story about Henry Ford. They tried to prove he was uneducated and basically stupid. He pointed to buttons on his desk and replied that when he needed something or a piece of information, he pushed a button and the person with his answer appeared. You will never know everything. You will never always be right. And, like all humans, you only have 24 hours in a day. You will find out that you MUST rely on and cooperate with other humans.

I've put this in off topic as it is more dreamer than progress but thought it would be fun to know peoples reasons for going into business/wanting to make a decent amount of money. MJ spoke about wanting to be the driver of his own lambo. Some want freedom or time with your kids. Mine, I want to emigrate with my family to the U.S. and unless you go the marriage route (which i doubt my wife would appreciate ha!) or have a degree(NOPE!) the only other way is to have money/business assets. That's what keeps my flame burning bright. How about you?
Great question! I'd be more involved in the dance community. It makes me feel more alive than anything else, and the social aspect is pretty awesome.

I'd be supporting friends and family, I enjoy watching others lifted up through their own efforts. Spend time learning more languages, travelling, cooking, playing more music with my bad, spending time with friends, and more time with friends.

I'm already pretty lucky to be able to do a lot of this now, I just want to be free to do it whenever I want to!

Pretty cool seeing all the things you folks are doing as well.

Years ago when I started to worry about money, my lambo was about getting a nice car and all the sh*t like that. At this time my main strategy was side hustling and stocks.

A few years later, now that I'm with my GF and that I've read MJ's books, goals are way simpler: a nice farm with a few animals to live far from cities with our future kids.

I'm still on my 9-5 (leaving before end of the year if things go well), and I just took a few holidays. I took this as an opportunity to have a walk in the forest nearby: I was alone, enjoying nature, when everyone else was working. It felt great, that's probably the real lambo.

It's that simple.
